Here’s an incredibly exhaustive list of all character skills. A description follows each name and possible specializations are in parentheses. And of course, you’re free to come up with brand new skills during the course of play.

Dexterity

  • Acrobatics-Tumbling, leaping gracefully, and other gymnastic skills
  • Archaic Guns-Using old-style black powder weapons (Type or model of gun: matchlock, musket, etc.)
  • Blaster-Using character-scale energy weapons (Type or model of blaster: blaster pistol, BlasTech DL-44, etc.)Does not work with fixed or multi-crewed weapons, vehicle-mounted weapons, or starship weapons
  • Blaster Artillery-Using heavy mounted support weapons (Type or model of artillery: anti-infantry, surface-to-space, etc.)
  • Bowcaster-Using the Wookiee bowcaster
  • Bows-Using bow-type weapons {Type or model of bow: long bow, crossbow, etc.) Does not cover Wookiee bowcaster
  • Brawling Parry-Defense against brawling or melee attacks. (Against specific type of brawling: boxing, martial arts, etc.) Reaction skill against Brawling or Melee Combat attacks.
  • Contortions-The ability to escape from bonds or tightly enclosed places; similar to the Jedi power Contort/Escape.
  • Dancing-Moving to a musical beat and looking good while doing it
  • Dodge-Defense against any attack, and getting out of the way.(Against specific type of attack: energy weapons, grenades, etc.) Reaction skill against any ranged attack
  • Firearms-Using non-archaic projectile weapons, such as slugthrowers.(Type or model of weapon: pistol, machine gun, etc.) Does not cover archaic guns.
  • Grenade-Throwing a portable explosive at a target area.(Type or model of weapon: thermal detonator, anti-vehicle grenade, etc.) Covers other small, thrown objects, like rocks.
  • Lightsaber-Using the ancient but powerful weapon of the Jedi Knights. Can be used as the reaction skill to parry Brawling, Lightsaber, and Melee Combat attacks.
  • Melee Combat-Using hand-to-hand weapons (Type or model of weapon: club, vibro-blade, etc.)
  • Melee Parry-Using a melee weapon to defend against a melee combat attack. (Against specific type of weapon: lightsaber, club, etc.) Can’t be used against ranged attacks.
  • Missile Weapon-Used to operate a missile and missile launchers. (Type of model or missile: concussion missile, grenade launcher, etc.)
  • Pick Pocket-Picking pockets at sleight-of-hand tricks.
  • Running-Moving quickly. (Long distance, short sprint, etc.)
  • Shockball Fling-Throwing a shockball at an opponent
  • Shockball Scoop-Catching or picking up a shockball.
  • Slingshot-Using a slingshot; useful for slaying giants.
  • Thrown Weapons-Using a non-projectile missile weapon, usually primitive or improvised. (Type or model of weapon: knife, javelin, etc.)
  • Vehicle Blasters-Using vehicle-mounted energy weapons (Type or model of blaster: blaster cannon, laser cannon, etc.) Can also be used on speeder- or walker-scale weapons mounted on starships.
  • Wegsphere-Playing the sport of wedsphere.

Knowledge

  • Accounting-Number crunching
  • Agriculture-Knowledge of farms and farming techniques
  • Alien Species-Knowing facts and hearsay about other species.(Wookiees, Mon Calamari, etc.)
  • Artist-The ability to create aesthetically pleasing works of art (subjective, of course)(painting, Twilek art, etc.)
  • (A)Brainwashing-Making a target completely obedient and subservient to either a specific cause or to the person doing the brainwashing. Advanced Skill, requires 5D or more in Intimidation to acquire.
  • Bureaucracy-Familiarity with the whys and hows of government organizations(Tatooine, Bureau of Ships and Services, etc.)
  • Business Administration-The knowledge of how to run a business without bankrupting it
  • Business-Knowledge of industry and/or business. (starships, Stenar Fleet Systems, etc.)
  • Culinary Arts-Knowing how to prepare a meal without poisoning anyone accidentally. (Type of dish or culture: pasta, Ewok cuisine, etc.)
  • Cultures-Knowledge of another culture (Corellians, Alderaan royal family, etc.)
  • Drink Mixology-Knowledge and ability to make exotic drinks.
  • (A) Economics-Management and production of material goods and services. Advanced Skill, requires 5D or more in Business to acquire
  • Home Economics-Managing a household.
  • Intimidation-The ability to threaten someone physically, verbally, or with body language. (Specific type of intimidation: interrogation, bullying, etc.) Resists with Willpower.
  • Languages-Comprehending and speaking alien or secret tongues(Wookiee, Bocce, etc.)
  • Law Enforcement-Knowledge of law enforcement practices and procedures. (Tatooine, the Rebel Alliance, etc.) Also grants knowledge of the laws in the same planet or organization.
  • Military History-Knowledge of military battles and tactics used in them
  • Planetary Systems-Spatial, navigational, and physical information about an area or system.(Specific system or planet: Hoth, Kessel, etc.)
  • Shockball-Knowledge of maneuvers and tactics for the sport of shockball.
  • Streetwise-How to make contact with informants or to conduct illegal activity. It also grants knowledge of crime bosses and gangs, and their activities. (Corellia, Black Sun, etc.)
  • Survival-How to locate food, water, and shelter in hostile climes or areas. (desert, poisonous atmosphere, etc.)
  • Tactics- Knowledge of how to place troops and materials to attack the enemy. (squads, fleets, etc.)
  • Traffic Control Procedures-Knowing the standard practices for landing on a ship or starport.
  • (A) Torture- Causing a person physical harm in a controlled manner, usually to extract information or to exact a punishment. Advanced Skill, requires 5D or more in Intimidation to acquire
  • Value-Setting the cost or worth of a particular object or service (starships, Kessel, etc.)
    *Willpower-Mental resistance to outside coercion. (Type of coercion to be resisted) If physical damage is taken while using this skill, the character suffers an additional wound for pushing his body too hard

Mechanical

  • Airship Operation-Piloting airship vehicles.
  • Aquatic Ship Operation-Piloting navel surface vehicles
    Archaic Starship Piloting-Piloting primitive or ancient starship design. (Celaya-class courier, Corillian solar sails, etc.) Can be used as a Reaction skill.
  • Astrogation-Calculating and making a jump into hyperspace. (Kessel run, Tatooine to Coruscant, Perlemian Trade Route)
  • Beast Handling-The ability to keep an animal under control
  • Beast Riding(/Handling)-Riding an animal. (bantha, tauntaun, etc.)
  • Capital Ship Gunnery-Firing capital starship-scale weaponry. (concussion missiles, ion cannons, etc.)
  • Capital Ship Piloting-Piloting capital starship-scale starships.(Imperial Star Destroyer, Corellian corvette, etc.) Reaction skill for dodging enemy fire.
  • Capital Ship Shields-Operating capital starship-scale shields. Reaction skill for blocking enemy fire.
  • Ground Vehicle Operation-Using a wheeled or tracked vehicle. (compact assault vehicle, Juggernaut, etc.)
  • Holorecorder Operation-Using a holorecorder.
  • Household Appliance Operation-Operating blenders, vacuums, and other everyday appliances.
  • Hover Vehicle Operation-Using a ground effect vehicle. (Type or model of vehicle: hoverscout, etc.)
  • Jet Pack Operation-Using a jet pack. Reaction skill to avoid enemy fire. This skill does not include the use of Rocket Packs.
  • Machinery Operation-Using heavy industrial machines.
  • Musical Instrument Operation-Using any musical instruments, except for one’s voice.
  • Powersuit Operation-Using a powered space suit. (servo lifter, spacetrooper armor, etc.) Reaction skill to dodge enemy fire
  • Repulsorlift Operation-Using a repulsorlift vehicle. (XP-38 landspeeder, snowspeeder, etc.) Reaction skill to dodge enemy fire.
  • Sailed Nautical Vessel Operation-Piloting sail-powered navel vessels.
  • Sensors-Operation of scanner and sensor equipment. (hand scanner, heat sensor, etc.)
  • Space Transports-Piloting small freighters and light transports or shuttles. (YT-1300 transport, Gallofree medium transport) Reaction skill to dodge enemy fire.
  • Starfighter Piloting-Piloting starfighters and snubfighters (X-wing, TIE-fighter, etc.) Reaction skill to dodge enemy fire
  • Starship Gunnery Firing space transports and starfighter weapons. (ion cannon, proton torpedoes)
  • Starship shields-Operating starship-scale shields. Reaction skill to block enemy fire
  • Swoop Operation Using a swoop, or scout or speeder bike. Reaction skill to dodge enemy fire
  • Undersea Vehicle operation. Using a navel submersible vehicle.
  • Walker Operation-Using a mechanical walker. (AT-AT, AT-PT, etc.) Reaction skill to dodge enemy fire.

Perception

  • Bargain-The art of negotiating over goods and services (droids, spice, etc.)
  • Command-Giving orders to those under your command. (Rogue Squadron, Imperial Stormtroopers, etc.)
    *Con-Lying or giving misleading information.(fast-talk, disguise, etc.)
  • Forgery-Forging a document or making a duplicate of a written or drawn item. (starship permits, security codes)
  • Gambling-Playing sabacc and other games of chance, and detecting cheaters. (sabacc, Trin sticks, etc.) This does not include the ability to play Cesa
  • Cesa-The ability to play the strategy game Cesa.
  • Hide-Hiding an object, including oneself, so it cannot be found. (Camouflage)
  • Investigation-The ability to gather and make use of information regarding a person or organization’s activities. (Local or field of investigation: Imperial City, criminal records)
  • Persuasion-Using language (including body language) to sway the opinions of others. (debate, flirting)
  • Search-The ability to search a room, area, or person. (Tracking)
  • Singing-The ability to sing well.
  • Sneak The ability to move without other people noticing. (jungle, city, etc.)

Strength

  • Brawling-Attacking without a weapon.(boxing, martial arts, etc.)
  • Cleaning-The ability to clean stuff, like your room.
  • Climbing/Jumping-Using physical prowess to climb or leap over obstacles (Climbing, jumping)
  • Digging-Using physical prowess to make a large hole in the ground.
  • Stamina-The ability to resist exertion or attacks on a character’s Strength, or to resist the effects of alcohol. Characters may use Stamina instead of Strength to resist the effects of stun damage
  • Swimming-The ability to swim over long distances, or using equipment to swim underwater

Technical

  • (A) Aquatic Vehicle Engineering-Creating new aquatic vehicle designs.(Type or model of vessel) Advanced Skill, requires 5D or more in Aquatic Vehicle Repair to acquire.
  • Aquatic Vehicle Repair Fixing or modifying naval surface or submersible vessels. (Type or model of vessel)
  • Archaic Gun Repair-Fixing or modifying black powder weapons. (Black powder pistol, wheel-lock, etc.)
  • (A) Armor Design- Creating new body armor types. (stormtrooper armor, etc.) Advanced Skill, requires 5D or more in Armor Repair to acquire
  • Armor Repair-Fixing or modifying body or protective armor. (stormtrooper armor, etc.)
